FOOTBALL fan Richard Smith got a taste of the highlife when he flew to Spain on the team plane with Chelsea's superstar players.

Richard, 50, from Bognor Regis, joined John Terry, Didier Drogba, and a host of the Blues' stars on their private jet to Portugal, for the Champions League clash against FC Porto.

Accountant Richard took his wife along for the trip, which he won thanks to Samsung, Chelsea's official sponsors.

He said: "It was amazing. We are season ticket holders and were thinking of going anyway, so to win a free trip was great!

"We flew out from Gatwick with the players, checked into our hotel, and spent some time with Kerry Dixon, who is a Chelsea legend.

"The next day we watched the team train at the Estádio Dragão stadium and managed to get a few pictures with some of the players afterwards. It was unreal!

"We had VIP seats for the game, and the atmosphere inside the ground was incredible.

"We went to Madrid a month back but I was the one organising. It was great to be treated like this. It's something we'll never forget."

Richard also won a 40-inch LCD Samsung TV as part of the competition.
