Tom Scudamore rode Peut Etre Sivola to Southern National victory at for David Pipe - as predicted on this website.
Pipe's runner was among those picked out in the Observer on Thursday as ones to watch in the £30,000 race, and he came home three lengths in front of L'aventure, ridden by Nick Scholfield.

It was one of FOUR winners tipped on this website on Satur
day - where we also backed Raise You Five, who won the first race with an SP of 16/1, Bureaucrat, who won with Charlie Poste on board at 11/4, and Dontpaytheferryman, a 3/1 favourite guided first in by Kyle James.

Click here to read how we backed a trio of winners.

The weather was kind for one of Fontwell's big meetings of the year as the rain and wind which had swept across Sussex on Friday and Saturday stayed away. That meant a decent-sized crowd for the track's penultimate card of 2009.

Results below - see the Observer for a report and picture on Thursday
