Lavant completed their 2007-08 season happy with progress made during the season.

The first team finished fifth in division two south of the West Sussex League and their reserves fourth in division five – a position they are determined to better next year.

As part of the club's plans, they intend to increase the coaching staff, encouraging as many as possible to attain FA coaching qualifications.

With a first and reserve team and two excellent pitches, they are also seeking additional people to join the backroom team to help further develop resources, facilities and teams.

Lavant are also looking for quality young players and others to strengthen the squads and help realise their ambition to gain promotion.

Anyone interested is guaranteed a friendly reception, purposeful coaching and an enjoyable season.
