THE ROCKS have two chances in four days to secure their first home points of the season – and are determined not to let them pass.

The fans have yet to see the Rocks collect a point at Nyewood Lane this season, but they are out to put that right against Bishop's Stortford on Saturday and Welling on Tuesday.

Monday's defeat at Eastleigh left Bognor in the bottom three, somewhere they don't want to stay for long.

Manager Mick Jenkins said: "We've had a poor return of points from our first five games despite deserving something from four of them.

"We have to get into good habits and put right our lack of points.

"Bishop's Stortford and Welling are both good footballing sides and we expect two good games.

"Martin Hayes is the manager at Bishop's Stortford and he always produces good sides.

"As for Welling, we have had them watched and they are a vibrant young side. In Ryan Martin and Charlie Sheringham up front, they've got two strikers who look like they're going to do well this season – they've got a few goals each already."

Jenkins, Andy Awford and Darin Killpartrick won't decide on the line-up until they have watched the squad in training tonight.

But Zak Burke seems likely to start up front again alongside Joe Gatting, while Scott Balderson edged Scott Harris out of the midfield at Eastleigh on Monday.

Keeper James Lester's ban for his red card starts a week on Monday.
