Andy Awford is already getting stuck into his role as new assistant manager with the Rocks.
The former Pompey and England under-21 international is number two to Mick Jenkins as the club enters a new era.
Awford was chief scout and reserve boss at Fratton Park before working as Jim Smith's right-hand man at Oxford United.
Now he brings his wealth of football experience and contacts to Nyewood Lane.
