Cricketers gathered for a tournament in memory of Ben Steppel, a champion of local sport.
Ben was heavily involved with Littlehampton CC and was a sports reporter at the Littlehampton Gazette before moving to the Chichester Observer as sports editor.

He died just over a year ago aged 38.

Littlehampton decided a day of cricket was the ideal way to remember him, and six teams helped make it a great occasion, which also saw hundreds of pounds raised for a charity close to Ben, Christians in Sport.
