Whyke started brightly despite the lashing rain and were unlucky not to be two up within minutes.

Felpham scored first from their first clear-cut chance. Whyke levelled with a good strike from Tom Cherrill and this was followed up by a good solo effort from Reiss Cunningham.

Then Whyke's defence failed to clear and Felpham levelled.

In the second half, a quick goal from Felpham seem to put them in command.

But Whyke battled hard to get back into it with a fine move involving Billy Wheeler, Nick Berryman and Alfie Elkington finished off by George Collins.

Whyke had chances but Felpham, on a counter attack, had a shot which Josh Toop in goal couldn't hold and a Felpham player sneaked in to score.

Whyke's Shane Stentiford moved the ball wide to Abigail Kelly. It went to George Collins, who passed to Willow Ridout-Magill and he set up Tom Cherrill to score his second, Whyke's fourth.

As Felpham pressed for the winner, Whyke's defence of Robin Thompson, Aaron Wingate and George Whitfield stood firm. And as the game was coming to the end, good play between Connor Thair and Alfie Elkington set up Cherrill to score the winner and complete his hat-trick. Man of the match was Nick Berryman.

Chi City Colts B 1 Preston Blades B 0

A goal three minutes from time saw the Colts claim a deserved win.

In terrible conditions, Colts created the better chances and were rewarded when William Hall played in Fynn Turner-Kilburn, who slotted in his sixth goal of the season.

UNDER-12
Bognor 4 Chichester Colts 1

In monsoon conditions, Colts took the lead from a corner when Harding dived in at the far post to head home.

The turning point was right on half-time when Harding, inside his own half, hit a half-volley that went over the keeper's head but was scrambled off the line.

With Colts playing against the conditions after the break, Bognor took control and scored two goals from corners.

A further goal was scored from a penalty and in the final minute, a fine long-range effort sealed the win. Credit goes to Colts keeper Chris Saunders, outstanding through out the game.

UNDER-13
Northchapel 1 Dorking 2

From the off in this top-of-the-table clash, champions Dorking played neat football – but Chapel took the lead with a brilliant chip from Guy McKilligan.

Then Dorking pressed, but the back four, including man-of-the-match Martin Greenslade, and keeper Luke Marr were magnificent.

After the break, Chapel continued to deny them. Chapel had chances to increase their lead, but ten minutes from time, a spectacular 30-yard effort flew like an missile into the Northchapel net.

With a minute left, the same player was allowed to shoot from 25 yards and again the ball hit the net like a bomb.

Chapel were not disgraced and can be satisfied they are now a proper force to be reckoned with.

Shopwhyke Rovers B 1 Chi City United 6

In atrocious conditions, Chichester came out easy winners. With a goal apiece for Josh Holder, Elorm Setranah and Max Trevethan, they went in at the break three goals to the good.

After the break, Shopwhyke pulled a goal back before two goals for Dzifa Kugbega and one from Jack Snow sealed the win. Man of the match for Chichester was Jake Tee.

Felpham Colts 5 Lancing Rangers 4

Colts returned to the top with a hard-fought win.

Colts took the lead, Peter Nicholls heading to Will Green who shot into the far corner. They doubled their lead with Nicholls' long throw allowing Harry Riseborough to score.

The same two combined to make it 3-0.

Lancing pulled a goal back but Colts extended the lead to 4-1 with Green grabbing his second. Lancing's keeper made impressive saves and then Lancing scored twice more.

Green completed his hat-trick, but Lancing found a way back, scoring a fourth and providing a nervy end.

Barnham Trojans 5 Worthing Tn Yth A 1

Worthing opened the scoring with a low rasping shot which Barnham's goalie was unable to hold, allowing a simple tap-in to put the away side ahead. Barnham's Ben Perkins volleyed a superb equaliser.

Chris Dobson put Barnham ahead when he scrambled the ball over the line.
Jonny James netted the third and Dobson got his second. Barnham's fifth saw James shooting high into the net. The result kept Barnham top of the league.

Bosham 0 Pagham 1

On a day better suited to ducks, these two teams slogged it out in the wind and rain.

Pagham were the better side for much of the game, and with only occasional flashes of strength from Bosham, it was left to keeper Charlie Ames to keep the score at 0-0 at half-time.

After the break Bosham did rally, but with several players below-par it was a struggle. The deadlock was broken from the penalty spot when captain Matt Moore was adjudged to have fouled his man.

For his superb efforts in goal yet again, Ames was named man of the match.

Worthing Minors Athletic 2 Chichester City Colts 5

Robbie Madden opened the scoring on his 100th appearance for Chichester and further goals from McCarthy and Groom gave the visitors a 3-0 lead at half-time.

The second half was a battle between Worthing, Chichester and the elements.

Two second-half goals from the home team were matched with ones from House and Barton, but both sets of players knew they had been in a match to remember.
