Barnham Trojans under-ten Blues are enjoying a lucrative summer tournament season, having triumphed at the Whyke tournament in Chichester just three weeks after their Lancing win.
Drawn in a pool with Havant & Waterlooville, Worthing Town Youth, Selsey Seals, AFC Worthing Youth and AFC Worthing Atoms, Barnham got their tournament started with a great 3-2 victory over Havant & Waterlooville.
Wins against Worthing Town (3-1), Selsey Seals (3-0), AFC Worthing Youth (3-1) and Worthing Atoms (1-0) meant Barnham won the pool with five victories and an impressive 13 goals on the way.
The semi-final pitted Barnham against Lancing Rangers and from the whistle Barnham were on the attack, scoring thir first goal in under a minute. Two more followed and a comfortable 3-1 win saw Barnham go through to the final.
Gosport were the opposition and it was a close-fought match with Barnham on top for most of the match, but with credit going to the Gosport keeper who kept out a number of Barnham efforts.
Barnham finally found the net early in the second half through striker Sam Pulley and the final whistle signalled another Barnham victory.
This was another fantastic display from the team, keeping Barnham as the team to beat in the area at under-ten level, to the delight of manager Duncan Terry.

Bognor Regis Town FC need your help to grow their youth football section.
They are looking for under-eigh8 and under-nine children for the forthcoming season, when a more focused approach will be under way to grow their youth section and build on their involvement in the community.
They are also in need of adults who wish to manage teams in the youth section.
As part of their plan, all children who join Bognor Town Youth will receive free access to all home games at Nyewood Lane and will benefit from coaching plans delivered from the very top of the football club. Younger players will be able to be first-team mascots at least once a year.
All adults who take on the role of managing a youth team will benefit from investment from the club to see them through their coaching qualification and the club as a whole will support them however they can.
The club are inviting children and parents to a free open day at Nyewood Lane on Sunday, August 3, from 10am to 3pm.
There will be mini soccer sessions and games on Bognor’s award-winning pitch for children and adults. Parents can meet existing committee members to answer questions.
Anyone intending to go is asked to email bognoryouth@Hotmail.co.uk so the club can plan for numbers.
