In their second meeting of the season, the Colts started at a lightning pace, scoring three goals in the first 12 minutes, including two from midfielder Rhys Rawlings.

They kept the great tempo going throughout the first half and went in 5-0 up, with Jack Tilbury getting a double.

The second half was much quieter in monsoon conditions, but Tilbury grabbed another two.

Worthing did get one back but the damage had already been done. Man of the match was Jake O’Brennan.

Worthing Dynamos 2 Chi Colts 2

Right from the off, Chi Colts took the game to Worthing. A muddy pitch and pouring rain did not deter the teams from giving their all.

Chi’s Joe Middleton slipped through a great ball for Harry Angell to score but Worthing battled back with an equaliser.

Deep in the second half, Chi’s Raith Lock scored an amazing individual goal to make it 2-1.

Top side Worthing struck back 30 seconds from time to equalise.
