The goals continue to flow at all levels of Pagham FC.
The youth team, firsts and reserves hit 17 goals in four games in less than a week.
Leading the glorious run are the first team, who went top of division one of the Sussex League with a dramatic 3-2 home win over Shoreham on Tuesday.
After a low-key start, it wasn’t until the 38th minute that the opener was scored as Charlie Walker struck from the right to give Shoreham the lead.
Within five minutes Pagham could have equalised, but Michael Frangou was adjudged offside to deny the Lions.
Both sides came out attacking in the second half, but only in a frantic final 20 minutes did further goals rain in.
A penalty was tucked away with ease by Scott Murfin before Ross Myers restored the visitors’ lead in a goalmouth scramble.
James Temple showed great skill when latching on to a Dan Simmonds cross and lashing the ball past Jamie Wytham in Shoreham’s goal to make it 2-2.
Temple sealed the win with two minutes left with a header from a corner.
Last Saturday, Pagham visited The Gullivers to take on Sidley United, who had lost just once in the league this season.
Having been beaten 2-1 at home by Sidley in last season’s final game at Nyetimber Lane, the Lions made no mistake this time.
After Ross Woolf’s opener on eight minutes, the hosts tried to get back into it but the Lions held on.
The second goal didn’t arrive until 80 minutes as a mistake by Sidley keeper Bourne allowed Woolf to strike a looping shot over the keeper to double the lead.
A clash in the area with four minutes left allowed Dan Simmonds to finish from the spot.
At Nyetimber Lane, Luke Cooper’s reserves hit six for the second week running as Steyning were beaten.
They trailed to a first-minute own goal in the Intermediate Cup tie but took the game by the scruff of the neck and Ryan Champion scored a beauty to level.
He went on to complete a hat-trick while Doug Peach and Kerry Hardwell also weighed in.
For the youth team, a visit to Selsey brought a 6-0 win and hat-tricks for Andy Chick and Samid Gashi.
