Loulou makes City ladies football history

History was made at Chichester City Ladies when Loulou Robson made her senior debut. She started with Chichester City girls in their first youth team at under-13 level and has been trained throughout the years by coaches, many of whom are senior ladies players, including Elizabeth Ogden and Emma Alexandre.

Robson plays for the under-16s but has been training with the senior squad recently and when she turned 16 in January, first-team boss Liam Greenfield signed her straight up.

For many of the volunteers at the club it was a special moment as it is an example of what they have all been working hard to achieve.

Robson came on as a sub, replacing Charley Wilson-Blakely and she enjoyed every second.

The club hope she is the first of many to come through our system and continue to progress in the ladies game.

* All Chi City ladies and girls’ teams were without games last weekend.

This Sunday, the under-16s play Crawley at 10.30am at Sidlesham FC. The development squad follow them at 2pm versus Long Lane and City’s first team are away to Basingstoke.
