Selsey have gone five games without a win after a 3-1 defeat at in-form Three Bridges.
Bridges captain Lee Carney opened the scoring after 11 minutes only for Jake Lafferty to equalise with his first goal of the season.
But ten minutes after half-time the home side restored their advantage with Carney again the scorer, finding the net acrobatically on 56 minutes.
And the win was sealed for Three Bridges by substitute Joel O’Hara, who drove in the third with a minute remaining.
The result was the home side’s eighth successive win in all competitions and condemned Adam Hinshelwood’s side to their fourth defeat in as many games.
The 3-1 away victory at Arundel back on November 8 was the last time the High Street Ground outfit recorded a win, and they are now only six points above the relegation zone.
But with games in hand Selsey can extend the gap between themselves and the drop zone, starting with a league clash with Crowborough Athletic on Saturday.
