Administrator will be at launch

LAUNCH Trevor Birch

LAUNCH Trevor Birch

POMPEY administrator Trevor Birch was due to be at Fratton Park this afternoon to oversee the launch of the trust’s share prospectus.

He was working until late last night with proposed new Pompey chairman Ian McInnes, putting the finishing touches to the agreements to ensure they are watertight.

That agreement was signed off with PKF’s solicitors last night, meaning the next stage in the trust’s takeover of Pompey could begin.

It will mean creditors will be a step closer to finding out when they will start seeing their money paid pack to them.

It will also mean some semblance of stability will return to the Pompey squad.
