Paul Cook highlighted Pompey’s lack of creativity as the reason for their ‘disappointing’ 0-0 draw with Accrington Stanley.
Cook pulled no punches about the manner of his team’s performance against John Coleman’s side today.
The Blues couldn’t complain about the outcome of the game as Accy warranted a point with their performance.
Cook acknowledged that but stated he would brush his team down and go again next weekend against Barnet.
He said: ‘I thought Accrington were full value for the draw.
‘We weren’t at it and were disappointing.
‘That’s how it is sometimes.
‘We had creative players who didn’t play well.
‘But my job is to back them. You move to the next game and add the points up at the end of the season.’
