Pompey have appointed Scott Bevan as their new goalkeeping coach.

And the 34-year-old has left as keeper with the Hawks to make the Fratton Park switch.

Andy Awford has spent the summer searching for a coach for his goalkeepers, with four used in the role last season.

Bevan last year worked part-time for the Academy and stepped in with the first team at the start of pre-season training while Awford looked for a recruit.

Now he has been installed to the role full-time.

Another appointment is Marc Rochon, stepping up from the Academy to become head of performance analysis.

He replaces Mark Thomas, who has joined-up with former Pompey boss Michael Appleton at Oxford.
