Around 5,000 seats have been snapped up on the opening day of ticket sales for Pompey’s FA Cup replay

The Blues host Ipswich on Tuesday, January 19, after the sides couldn’t be separated in last weekend’s 2-2 draw.

And Fratton Park has today been inundated with interest for a third round clash which will see the winners face Bournemouth.

Pompey reported a constant stream of supporters visiting the ticket office, while phonelines remained busy throughout.

Season ticket holders’ seats are reserved until 10am on Thursday, before being released for general sale.

Ipswich have been handed an initial allocation of 1,300.

Seats are priced £18 for adults, £12 for seniors (61+) and young persons (17-22), and £6 for all juniors (under 17).
