FOOTBALL in West Sussex has again been decimated by the weather - but Bognor Rugby Club’s first XV have found a pitch to play on.
More rain across the south-east on Friday and overnight claimed the Rocks’ Ryman premier visit to Canvey Island as well as Sussex League games involving Chichester City, Selsey, Midhurst and Sidlesham - among others.
The West Sussex League was again severely hit - with some teams in that league not having played since before Christmas.
But there was at last a match for Bognor RFC - they host Southampton in Hampshire League division one but at the Littlehampton Academy, where they have turned because the Hampshire Avenue pitches are still waterlogged.
Chichester RFC have no game scheduled today.
