Selsey Golf Club seniors are glad to be back in the swing of things
SELSEY
After a winter of snow, rain and wind, the Selsey Golf Club’s veterans’ section is back in the swing of it again.
The section held their nine-hole Spring Competition in bright sunshine.
The winner of division one was Tony Terry with 19 points and second was Dave Winter with 18 points. In division two, the winner was Ray Holmes with 18 points and second was Gary Wood with 17 points.
Division three was won by Brian Rainer with 17 points and second was Alan Thomas with 16 points. To celebrate the start of the golfing year the members enjoyed an extremely good three-course lunch provided by the club’s new caterer Julie Conebar.
