Tom Stoneham and Jordan Vincent were selected to play for the West Sussex under-15 team in the Inter Region competition at Willingdon Golf Club, Eastbourne. With 38 points Jordan had the highest score.
Gary Maskell, captain for 2010, has won eight and halved one of his last nine matches. His two older brothers, Liam, handicap five and Shaun, handicap six, also play for the Bognor scratch team, and all three have played for the county at various ages.

COWDRAY PARK
The seniors hosted Bognor Regis for a quick return match. The home side ran out 6-2 winners to keep up their fine home form this season.
New to most players was the revamped ninth hole, which poses a whole new problem, especially from the back white tee of 200-plus yards.
Star performer for the second straight match was Gordon Batchelor, who won 6&5 again, this time with partner Mike Burgess, while the lead match, involving team captain Mike Hancock & in-form Alan Godfree was won 5&4.

* Eight Cowdray Park seniors took part in the Ham Manor Invitation Open, hoping to replicate the success of last year when Allen Sibley and Graham Evans finished first and second.
Conditions were testing with the fairways rock-hard and a very strong wind blowing in off the Channel.
Cowdray's honour was upheld by seniors' vice-captain Peter Burton, who scored an excellent 35 points in the over-70s section to win first prize - this while he awaits extensive knee surgery.
* Almost 100 Cowdray Park seniors took part in the June stableford and, with the course playing very fast, good scoring was the order of the day.
Among the first groups out, Frank Cheevers and Neville Gibbons both scored 39 points and set the benchmark.
Later, seniors' vice-captain Peter Burton, building on his success at Ham Manor the previous day, took the lead on countback.
It looked as though he was going to celebrate again until Cliff Davis, a relative newcomer to the seniors' section, came in with 42.
In the last group, another relative newcomer, Phillip Currie, returned his best score at the club with 39 and earned fourth place on countback.
A raffle raised a further 171 for the captain's charity, the Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
During the day seniors' captain Wally Mitchell presented popular veteran David Manning with his winning prize from the club captain's charity raffle – a seven-day holiday for two in Jersey.
The stableford results mean the leaderboard for the seniors' Carter Trophy has changed significantly.
Consistent Graham Evans, who has scored points in five of the seven
competitions, joins Phil Harrison at the top of the tree with 40 points.
Frank Cheevers' consistency is rewarded with third place, while newcomer to the senior ranks this year Cliff Davis has rocketed from nowhere to sixth after finishing second and first in recent events.
PETWORTH DOWNS
The club held their inaugural early riser competition with the restriction of only using four clubs to play 18 holes.
The first players teed off at 5am in perfect conditions and in stableford format. The sun rising over the first tee made for a difficult sun obscured first shot.
Star player John Pafford gained the winning points and also birdied the ninth, tenth and 17th holes.
Results: John Pafford 39, Peter Kowlessar 31, Brian Ford 30, Neville Kinch 30, Graham Worsfold 28, Paul Robinson 23, Tony McClusky 20, Geoff Martin 20, Micky Hughes 19, Bog Hughes 18, Maurice Black 9.

AVISFORD PARK
On Saturday, July 24, a week after the Open Championship at St Andrews, Avisford Park will participate in the National Golf Club Challenge, the largest amateur golfer charity event to take place in the UK.
The challenge will bring together hundreds of golf clubs and thousands of golfers to compete, have fun and to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity.
Lee Westwood, one of the challenge's patrons, has given his full support to the national fundraising initiative, saying: "Together we have the chance to change the lives of those who have sacrificed and endured so much so we might live full and free lives.
"Many brave men and women have suffered often the most horrendous injuries in the line of duty and these heroes deserve our wholehearted support in July."
The 2010 National Golf Club Challenge winners will be presented with the Lee Westwood Cup, a stunning golf trophy, commissioned and donated by Wedgwood especially for the competition.
