James Baker notched up another career win in the Hampshire 10k at Portsmouth with a good 32.17 clocking - only a minute outside his all-time best.
Veteran Chris Jack finished seventh in the same race.
Meanwhile a smaller-than-usual squad lined up at Portslade for the annual Hedgehoppers five-mile race over the Downs.

Runners from around the area will be able to test themselves over the slightly shorter distance of five miles when Chichester Runners hold their annual Midsummer 5 starting from Lavant Village Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday, June 19.
Taking in a circuit of the Goodwood motor-racing circuit, this is a fast and generally flat course and recognised for producing fast times.
Entry forms can be obtained from either the club website - chichester-runners.org.uk - or on email from email@example.com
