ARUN Indoor Bowling Club’s men beat the ladies 141-83 in the Osbourne Trophy, which is played for over a series of three inter-club matches each winter.

This was a good result for the men and their 58-shot advantage now gets carried forward to the second match.

The match was played in good spirits with everyone enjoying a lovely meal and a drink at the end.

But it goes without saying that come the second game the ladies will be out for revenge.
