The Arundel 10k is always a favourite race in the calendar for the Bognor’s Tone Zone Runners. This year’s was no exception with 29 runners from the club.
It is a very challenging course, starting and finishing in the town centre with the first half all uphill and the second half mostly down.
This year saw a last-minute route change because of a faulty bridge in the castle grounds.
Jimmy Summons finished first for the club in 43min 30sec, an excellent time for such a challenging course.
Tony Holcombe finished sixth in category while Louisa Proctor, still recovering from injury, finished third in category with a fantastic time of 47.29.
In other races, the Lakeside 5k fourth race in a series of five saw Debbie Patching finish in 27.39 and Paul Coe ran the Thames Meander Marathon in an excellent 3.50.21.
