THE UNIVERSITY of Chichester’s netball first team had a handsome 67-22 win at home to Imperial Medics.

Chichester produced some excellent netball with the attack and defence working hard to feed the circle and make interceptions and turn over the ball.

Charlotte Hill was named player of the match for some excellent interceptions.

The Chichester thirds took on top side Portsmouth II at home.

In the first quarter Portsmouth placed pressure on Chichester which resulted in them leading. In the third quarter Chichester made some changes and came back to be just three behind.

After an extremely-tough final quarter the team lost 38-37, heartbreaking after such a great performance.

Charlotte Honour was named player of the match for her excellent movement in the circle and remarkable shooting.

Chichester fifths visited St George’s IV and continued their unbeaten streak in their league to win 37-15.

After a pep talk from captain Amy Haken, the team relaxed and some great defence was shown in the circle. Beth Heir was voted player of the match for finding her voice and commanding play in the attacking third.
