Chichester Fencing Club’s Jules Findley – after just half a term’s fencing – took her medal-winning streak to new and dizzying heights with a regional win in only her second competition at the south-east region intermediate foil championships held at Worth School.

Jules (right) held her nerve and fenced with the right balance of aggression and control to take the extremely-prestigious title, a wonderful coup in her extraordinary new career.

Nick Judd and Oliver Hayward also fenced superbly in the men’s event finishing fifth and sixth, just outside the medals but both fencing beautifully and showing enormous promise for the future.
