BOGNOR Cricket Club welcomed Sussex in the Community to the club.

The county club visited Bognor for one of their many holiday roadshow events.

A great day was had by all at the club with plenty of games, skills training and coaching on offer, while Sussex’s mascot Sid the Shark was also present.

Bognor colts chairman Mike Broad was delighted with how the day went and said: “It is so pleasing to see young players enjoying themselves and having such fun outdoors, whilst learning the great game of cricket.

“We here at Bognor are a true community club, so our link with the Sussex in the Community programme makes good sense for all.”

Bognor offer colts sides from the age of six all the way through to 16.

It is so pleasing to see young players enjoying themselves and having such fun.
