That was the calm - now Rocks get ready for a storm
AFTER the calm of ten days without a game comes the storm of 14 matches in 50 days for the Rocks.
Last weekend they were left kicking their heels because scheduled
opponents Maidstone were in FA Trophy action.
And a planned trip to Aveley last Monday was also postponed because the hosts were in league cup action that night.
It was ironic the Rocks should have two games called off now the weather is better after losing so many away matches to the weather since mid-November.
The upshot is they now face a heavy fixture schedule over the next
couple of months – the consolation being that it's no worse than any other team's programme.
Here's how the next couple of months pan out:
This Saturday: Tonbridge H
Sat Feb 13: Ashford A
Tue 16: Waltham Abbey A
Sat 20: Boreham Wood H
Mon 22: Aveley A
Sat 27: Cray Wand H
Tue Mar 2: Horsham A
Sat 6: Harrow A
Tue 9: Carshalton H
Sat 13: Aveley H
Tue Mar 16: Pagham or Peacehaven H (SSC)
Sat 20: Sutton A
Tue 23: Hendon A
Sat 27: Canvey Island H
