Glorious Goodwood is less than three weeks away – and we have teamed up with the racecourse to give away some tickets to lucky readers.
The festival gets under way on Tuesday, July 31, and runs until Saturday, August 4, with close to £2m prize money up for grabs in five days of top-class flat racing.
Highlights will be many and varied.
The world’s highest-rated racehorse, Frankel, is due to attempt to defend his Qipco Sussex Stakes crown on the Wednesday.
Ladies’ Day on Thursday includes the Celebrity Ladies’ Race as well as the Artemis Goodwood Cup, marking 200 years since it was first run in 1812.
The Betfred Mile on Friday and Saturday’s Blue Square Stewards’ Cup and Group 1 Nassau Stakes are other must-see races.
Tickets are still available for all five days and prices start from £16 in the Lennox Enclosure for midweek meetings (£19 on Saturday).
Admission to the Gordon Enclosure, which includes access to the parade ring and both the Sussex and March stands, costs £38 on all days.
A 20 per cent group discount is applicable to bookings of ten or more in both those enclosures.
But in the Chichester Observer, we have a pair of Gordon Enclosure passes to give away for each day of the festival – so we’re looking for five lucky winners, one for each day’s passes.
To stand a chance of winning, get the July 12 edition of the Observer, turn to page 41 and follow the simple instructions.
Don’t miss the Observer next week for more chances to win.
