CRICKET’S CB40 competition is hotting up nicely - especially for Sussex and Hampshire.
Our two local counties are both going great guns in the competition with the prize of a Lord’s final still very much alive for both.
Here at the Chichester Observer we have teamed up with Clydesdale Bank to offer ten lucky winners the chance to watch one of two Clydesdale Bank 40 matches.
There are five pairs of tickets up for grabs for the game on Tuesday, August 14, between Hampshire Royals and the Somerset Sabres at the Ageas Bowl and a further five pairs to see Sussex Sharks take on Warwickshire Bears the following day, Wednesday 15, in a top-of-the-table clash.
For your chance to win a pair of tickets to one of these games, all you have to do is answer the simple question below:
Who are the current holders of the Clydesdale Bank 40 trophy?
Normal Observer series competition rules apply.
To enter write your answer on a postcard or the back of a sealed envelope, add your name, address and telephone number and send it to CB40 COMPETITION, Sports Desk, Chichester Observer, 8 Eastgate Square, Chichester, PO19 1JN.
Alternatively you can email firstname.lastname@example.org – title your email CB40 COMPETITION and include your answer, name, address and telephone number.
Tell us which of the two games you’d like to attend if you win.
The ten lucky winners’ details will be passed on to Clydesdale Bank, who will post tickets out.
The deadline for entries is 9am next Wednesday, August 8.
