At full tide in Emsworth on Monday the Millpond was flooded by water coming over the walkway.
The area had previously been empty but at lunchtime teams from the Environment Agency were busy trying to lower the water levels.

Bath Road, Bridgefoot Path and part of South Street were also flooded and four gardens along the Promenade were flooded

A large tree near the Millpond was also uprooted.

Ben Harmer, who lives opposite the Millpond said: "The tree was like it when we got up this morning and there is lots of debris around, boats are appearing in the wrong places and a door, things like that. They were out trying to lower the water level."
