READERS' PHOTOS:
David Wilson captured the scene at Selsey, where the rescue services plucked 30 people to safety.

"My photo shows the caravans about half-an-hour before the emergency services arrived." he said.

"I saw the fire engine, a couple of support vehicles and an ambulance going to Selsey as I drove back to Chichester.

"The sea is flowing over the bank in the foreground and flooding the site."

David Griffiths sent photographs of Bosham, the fire department cordon because of a flooded electricity vault, Bosham Art Walk Centre and Shore Drive, looking back to the village.
