Train travel disrupted

The strong winds caused severe disruption to commuters travelling by train this morning.
Delays were caused after trees fell on lines at Billingshurst and Buxted and railway operator Southern had to cancel several services and make short notice alterations to others.
Trees and debris have now been cleared from the lines although there are still delays of up to an hour on some routes.
