Chance to enjoy West Stoke private garden

A PUBLIC opening of a private garden in West Stoke is taking place on Sunday, June 17.

Every year St Wilfrid’s Hospice appeals to anyone who is interested in opening their gardens to the public to raise funds.

Garden owner Heather Lock has a large collection of roses, mainly new English roses, as well as walls, fences and arches covered with clematis and baskets overflowing with fuchsias.

Entrance to the garden costs ÂŁ3 for adults and is free for children.

The garden will be open on Sunday between 2pm-5pm.

It is located near Kingley Vale at 4 Hillside Cottages, Downs Road, West Stoke, PO18 9BL.
