Pallant House Gallery offers family open day

A FREE family open day is being held at Pallant House Gallery this weekend.

Visitors can enjoy the gallery’s world-class collection of modern British art, special temporary exhibitions and family-friendly activities throughout the day.

A children’s gallery trail will be available to use in the Jean Dubuffet: Transitions and Outside In: National exhibitions. As well as the gallery’s permanent collections, including works by Peter Blake and Henry Moore, visitors will be able to take a look at some of the temporary exhibitions for free, including the critically-acclaimed Gwen John and Celia Paul: Painters in Parallel.

There will also be badge making, for £2, biscuit making, £1, and a creative family drop in session. The drop-in activity is free but donations will go towards the gallery’s Community Programme which aims to enable a broad range of people to access the gallery.

The family open day is from 10am to 5pm on Saturday (January 19).
