Festival co-ordinator Barry Smith and the entire committee are delighted at the way it has all come together.

“News of fantastic events is flooding in as we reach the final week,” Barry said. “We’ve had sell-out shows with Chocolate, the Vagina Monologues and a record attendance at Halnaker for the Rude Mechanicals.

“And there have been brilliant concerts by the wonderful Hanover Band in the cathedral and the fabulous Badke Quartet in St Johns, while the Celebration of Youth Music in the cathedral really brought the house down. The Dean gave an inspirational talk at the Tale of Three Cities photographic exhibition. Dawn’s 50s Juke box diner, Georgia Mancio’s jazz singing and Ruby Tiger/King Rollo’s blues fusion have all been enthusiastically acclaimed.

“And lots of other events, too numerous to mention, have lit up Chichester for the last three weeks.”

Our gallery shows just some of the events which have been taking place this week.
