THE work of St Wilfrid’s Hospice, in Chichester, will come under the microscope at the city’s next Probus Club meeting.
Taking place on Thursday, November 10, the event features a talk from Dr Alan Copsey, a GP who was in practice in the area for more than 30 years.
From the mid 1990s he worked in medical education as GP tutor at St Richards but since retiring he has been able to pursue personal interests including sailing, amateur drama and work with the Mary Rose Trust’s plans for a new museum.
Dr Copsey has been a trustee and board member of St Wilfrid’s Hospice for two years and is now its vice chairman.
Within his talk, he will offer some fascinating insights into its valuable work within the community.
The Chichester Probus Club is open to mature former business people.
It meets at the Park Hotel Westhampnett and now has more than 50 members.
