THE SELSEY Cancer Relief Fund has been busy raising money towards treatment equipment for St Richard’s Hospital.

The charity raised £429 at its annual flag day on July 14.

Secretary Pat Bryden said: “We would like to thank everybody who held collecting tins or donated on the day.

“Also a big thank you to shopkeepers who allowed them to stand outside their premises.”

The charity raised a further £175 at a jumble sale held as part of the Selsey Festivities and ran a stall at the Selsey Lifeboat launch day.

Its next event will be the Bits and Bobs sale in the Methodist Hall, Selsey, on Saturday (September 8), from 10am-midday.
