FOURTEEN gardens will be opened this weekend to raise funds for two good causes.
Selsey Gardens Open Day is on Sunday (June 23) from 11am to 5pm.
All proceeds will go to St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Alzheimer’s Society.
Organisers promise a mix of ‘interesting and diverse gardens’ including some new additions for 2013.
The garden trail meanders through the town, visiting award winning school and organic vegetable gardens, before continuing towards the sea via wild flower and rose gardens and reaching beach-side plots enjoying spectacular sea views across The Solent.
Many of the gardens wheelchair access.
Refreshments and plants will be on sale during the day.
Admission is £5 for adults, including a map and description of each garden.
Advance tickets are available from Country Gardens Greengrocer, Summit bikes and The Selsey Florist now and from participating gardens on the day. Under 12s go free of charge.
