Stuart Dixon, who is artistic director and also company manager on the Goldilocks tour, promised Goldilocks with all the panto elements.

“We looked again at the original story and then looked at how it could be fitted into a panto,” Stuart said.
“We needed a panto baddie so we have got the wicked Baroness who is Goldilocks’ stepmother. It’s her aim to try to get hold of Baby Bear to shave off his fur to make a new coat for herself.”
The show also takes in a comedy sidekick called Velcro: “The name Buttons was taken,” Stuart explains. “It’s his job to narrate the story and really take care of the audience participation side of it all.”
