VIDEO: ‘Heart-warming’ Horsham charity art sale for Philippines disaster relief raises £2,400
A Horsham charity art sale raised more than £2,400 in aid of the Philippines typhoon relief effort on Sunday December 8.
At least 300 people came to the 90 to 1 exhibition at Drill Hall, in Denne Road, to see a collection of photographs, etchings and paintings donated by local artists and schoolchildren.
90 million to 1 founder Matt Malone said that it had been ‘heart-warming’ to see the local community get involved.

“I think there aren’t enough exhibitions like this locally where young artists just starting out get an opportunity to show their work.
“We’ve had people from all ages and backgrounds helping out for people they’ve never met before. So that to me is a great thing.”
