VIDEO: Horsham motorcycle shop gearing up for new graffiti competition
Rob Hurst, owner of New Street Motorcyclists, wants to encourage young and upcoming artists to come and help cover his shop front in motorcycle murals such as chequered flags in a tagging type of graffiti.
Ideally he wants several artists to compete, with the winner receiving some type of reward, and if he could drum up some sponsorship he could put the money towards charity.

Having sold his previous business selling and hiring all-terrain vehicles, jet skis, and motorbikes, he rented a place in New Street to restore his own bikes and build up his bike collection, while doing the odd MOT.
However, he now does 1,600 services and MOTs a year, and is looking at 200 per cent growth a year.

“All the complexities are founded, built, and maintained by old school values.”
The diversity of customers and the diversity of jobs he gets to perform are two of the best things about his job.
