VIDEO: £5m upgrade to Littlehaven Railway Station officially unveiled
A £5m upgrade of Littlehaven Railway Station was officially unveiled today (Thursday June 12).
Work started in September to widen and lengthen the platforms to allow passengers to get on and off trains with eight carriages, with new benches, shelters and information screens.
The longer platforms also mean that when longer trains call at the station, they will no longer obstruct the level crossing on Rusper Road, which caused delays to road traffic and pedestrians.
