A27 full closure tonight at Polegate
The closure will allow Highways England to repair the road following damage caused by work to install utility connections underneath the road.
The A27 will be closed in both directions between Cop Hall roundabout (Polegate West) and Pevensey (for the A259).

Hide AdThe closure will be in place overnight tonight, Saturday, September 24, between 8pm and 6am.
A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via the A259, A2290, A2280 and A2270.
Highways England said it was working hard to safely reopen the A27 and will carry out repairs to the carriageway tonight.
Specialist surveys have been carried out to determine the extent of the damage and repairs required.

Hide AdLane closures have been in place since Thursday, September 22 due to the damage caused.
Lane two remains closed on the eastbound and approach to Jubilee roundabout along with an inside lane of the roundabout junction itself.
Lane two of the Jubilee roundabout onto the A22 is also closed along with a lane closure on the A22 heading towards Dittons roundabout.
Highways England is advising drivers to check the latest conditions and allow extra time.
