No coronavirus deaths for three weeks in West Sussex hospitals trust

As the UK tentatively moves out of lockdown, West Sussex has continued to fare comparatively well during the pandemic, with the last coronavirus-related death reported in Western Sussex's hospital trust on June 7 according to NHS England.
Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust includes St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, Worthing Hospital and Southlands Hospital in Shoreham.

Hide AdSurrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, which does cover some of West Sussex, recorded its most recent death on June 19.
NHS England figures only report deaths that have occurred in hospital, where coronavirus is mentioned on the death certificate.
The figures do not include deaths outside of hospital, such as in care homes, hospices or at home.
The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in West Sussex hospitals stands at 386, as of yesterday (June 27).

A total of 28,634 people have now sadly died in hospitals in England, but that figure is significantly higher when including care homes, hospices and other settings.
