Adur council leader's latest success
Mr Parkin was presented with a shield and the 1,500 prize after coming top at a contest held in Brighton, last Sunday.
Mr Parkin and others entered in the competition in Brighton and Hove, where he works, had to take part in numerous tasks.

Hide AdThese involved a driving skills test through cones, a general knowledge section and a test to see if drivers knew the area and its routes, called "the knowledge".
Mr Parkin told the Herald: "The main part was the taxi drivers' 'knowledge' test. That is the thing that separates us from all the other taxi drivers, it is so hard. I actually won the test '“ I won a second award. I am very chuffed."
As well as his shield and cash prize, Mr Parkin's taxi will also bear a badge so all his customers will know they are being driven by an award-winner.
