“I feel that I must highlight the importance of patients with asthma to engage with primary and secondary care.
“Asthmatics need to be on the appropriate level of medication for their degree of asthma using a step up and step down approach.
“However, a recent publication on the national review of asthma deaths in England found that people are still dying from asthma.

“Therefore if people find that their asthma is affecting lifestyle/sleep it may be that they will need to review their medication with a GP or asthma nurse.”
Adur East Lions also paid a recent visit to the Shoreham Air Cadets to present a certificate for community service.
Lion President Jim Pummell, accompanied by Lions Chris Hilliard, Doreen Young and Dave Young attended a meeting of Shoreham Air Cadets to present yet another Young Leaders in Service certificate to one of the cadets.
