Couples pair up for Valentine's Day at Crawley Age UK
The charity has been awarded over £75,000 in the last two years alone, which has enabled them to offer a whole host of activities for those who want to become more involved in the community and maintain a healthy, happy lifestyle. Events include a Cinema Club, photography, yoga, Tai Chi and art. Age UK also offer people practical help such as transport to and from hospital with its Home From Hospital service or helping hand around the house.
Cabinet member for community engagement Michael Jones said: “After visiting the tea dance and seeing the beneficial work that Age UK West Sussex does, I am pleased we are able to support them in such a significant way here in Crawley.”
