Dedicate a ribbon to a lost loved one at Eastbourne's annual Tree of Light
The Christmas tree will still be outside The Congress Theatre as usual, despite refurbishment works to the theatre.
The official light switch on will take place on December 2 at 4pm outside The Towner Art Gallery.

Hide AdThis is the 20th year that the Rotary Clubs in Eastbourne have come together to organise a special tree giving the community an opportunity to remember a loved one at Christmas time.
Melanie Adams, one of the organisers, said, “The project is important because it not only to raises funds for local charities but to give an opportunity to come together in a positive environment with music and poems and a chance to tie a ribbon to the tree, remembering someone no longer with us.”
There will be music from The Salvation Army, The Marcus Plant ensemble and The Rattonians.
The project has raised more than £100,000 over the years and supported many worthy charities including St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Children With Cancer, The Samaritans, CRUSE bereavement charity and Cancer Research UK.
