Energy scheme backed in Arun
The council collected 15,000 for being the runner-up in the Ashden Awards for sustainable energy to recognise its existing work. These efforts will be boosted by the prize money being spent on a renewable energy support service.
Roger Wood, the council's deputy head of environmental health, added: "As the cost of fuel continues to soar, fuel poverty is going to be a growing issue.
