The cows seem particularly happy in their beds as the wind and rain lashes outside, rushing back in after milking, grabbing some breakfast before settling down in their snug beds.
Intakes are going up now as the colder weather sharpens appetite, and as most cows are a month or two after calving, they eat more.

Hide AdWe now have two tankers coming up the drive, as we are producing more than one tanker load of milk. I would have thought it more sensible to pick us up every day but in this day of computer modelling, I suppose they know what they are doing?
