The aim of the Open Space Survey is to find out what the public thinks about the space on offer and how it is used.
This includes play areas, cycle paths, parks, allotments, grassed areas on housing estates and beaches.

The study will establish the quality, quantity and value of open space and help Arun District Council develop a strategy which reflects what local people want.
For example, protecting open spaces where appropriate and also providing new facilities tailored to local needs.
Councillor Terence Chapman, Arun District Council’s cabinet member for environmental services, said: “In order for the project to succeed, it’s essential that we consult with the public to hear their experiences, and listen to their opinions on any opportunities for improvement.

The findings from the survey will help form a strategy and shape decisions about how these types of spaces are provided and used in the future.”
The survey can be completed online via the council’s website at www.arun.gov.uk/survey and should take around five to ten minutes to complete.
Paper copies are available in various locations including libraries, the Arun Civic Centre and Bognor Regis Town Hall.
Deadline for survey responses is May 31.
